Major Greetings to your all!
I must say I am very thankful for God's Grace, Mercy, and Healing power. I am very grateful for you, our faithful listeners.
As many of you have seen or heard from social media, I had a heart attack at 3:30 AM this past Saturday morning. The pain was unbearable, and my wife scooped me up and got me to the hospital.
Of course, they took me right in and started working on me. When the ER Doc said to me, "Mr. Snyder, you are in the middle of a heart attack as we speak." I am like, what? Wait, let's talk about this. LOL, I went into instant denial.
The next few days were terrifying as they worked to figure out why I had a heart attack, the how, and assess the damage it had done.
They found a piece of plaque that broke loose and traveled to the graph from my 2016 corrective open-heart surgery. That is what caused the heart attack. Where it came from is still a mystery. I asked how we were going to get that piece of plaque stuck in my heart. The doctor said we were not going to do anything about it, and it was too dangerous. He said I have had a "One and Done" heart attack. Meaning it happened, and it is over. That place is now scaring around the area where the plaque is, and it's done. Now we work on a strategy that never happens again.
Next is what I consider God's healing touch and the answer to your prayers.
All four chambers of my heart are functioning as they should! They thought I had some disease in the arteries of my legs and possibly a blockage in one of my legs. When they ran those tests, they came back normal. No disease and no blockages! To God be the Glory!
Over the next couple of weeks, under doctor's orders, I am to rest, do some follow-up tests, and enter cardiac rehab to get my strength back.
I am very thankful for what God has done this Thanksgiving, and I am very thankful for you!
